New Government Regulations on Face Coverings

In the UK, face coverings have been mandatory in all shops and supermarkets since Friday 24th July 2020.

This government announcement followed earlier rules for face coverings on public transport: since 15th June 2020, anyone travelling by bus, train, ferry or plane in the UK must wear a face covering.

The UK government advises that if you are in an enclosed space where social distancing is not possible and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet, such as shops and public transport, protective masks such as Covaflu can help reduce your chance of catching an infection and infecting others.

It is important to avoid touching your face when wearing a face covering where possible, to avoid hand-to-mask transmission of the virus.

Wearing a Covaflu Face Mask can help prevent you from spreading the virus to others and reduce your chances of catching it.

The best thing we can do now to reduce the risk to ourselves and others is to follow government guidelines on self-isolation and social distancing. Advice can change daily, so keep checking: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
